8/16/11: Camp Freddy played to a packed house on July 30 at the X-Games ESPN party – the 7th year in a row that the band have performed. The show was a private, invite only event and the house was full of athletes, competitors and alumni from the Extreme Sports fraternity. The band played for 90 minutes and brought on a succession of guests until the finale song of the Sex Pistols ‘Silly Thing’ which featured Matt Sorum on drums, Chris Wyse (the Cult) on bass, FOUR guitarists (Steve Jones, Billy Duffy, Steve Stevens and Billy Morrison) and Billy Idol and Sebastian Bach on vocals. Camp Freddy are currently making arrangements for their now infamous Xmas Residency series of gigs in Los Angeles and details will be announced soon.
