9/10/09: SUNSET STRIP FESTIVAL, LOS ANGELES, CA.

The second annual Sunset Strip Music Festival took place in Los Angeles this weekend, and the honoree was Ozzy Osbourne. Long time friend of Ozzy, Camp Freddy guitarist Billy Morrison, inducted his friend at the House Of Blues, along with fellow friends Tommy Lee, Slash and Billy Bob Thornton. Following Ozzy’s speech, Camp Freddy played to the packed house. They opened with Crazy Train while Ozzy watched from the balcony and played for an hour. Slipknot front man, Corey Taylor closed the show with a rousing version of the Sex Pistols classic, ‘Anarchy In The UK’.
